Our Rating System, the S.T.A.R.C.H.E.R
Sep 21st, 2007 by moviecriticshow
Instead of rating films on the one to four star rating, we rate them using a one to eleven scale called the S.T.A.R.C.H.E.R (Stupid Trivial Awarding Rank Cannot Heed Ebert’s Rating) with one being the worst, and eleven being the best. Here’s how our system works:
11 - The deinition of awesome
10 - A damn fine film
9 - Great, but not all around awesome
8 - A good movie, but not a great one, but still good
7 - A bit higher than your average movie
6 - Could do better, could do worse
5 - Bleh, could do better
4 - About as good as a golden piece of crap
3 - About as good as global warming
2 - Watching paint dry is more entertaining
1 - Makes “Deuce Bigalo: European Gigalo” look like “Citizen Kane”
