If anyone out there is even still interested in this show, here’s the low down on what’s going on.

  1. We regret to inform everyone that the listener-line is now dead and is no longer in service. So when you call (206)-203-2067, you will hear an robot telling you that the number does not exist.
  2. On a lighter note, we have formed a partnership with the movie forum, Movie Loons! You can now answer our question of the week there and meet some other movie loons! (Eh,  eh, bad pun) The address is movieloons.com
  3. If you haven’t noticed, the show is on hiatus. This is mainly due to the fact that I am currently busy with my life (as in everything is happening at once and I cannot sit down and record). We plan to have an episode up later this month.
  4. We are also in the works with out friends over at Reset Radio for a movie of the week segment! Keep on the lookout for that.
  5. Finally, to keep the feed alive, I will be writing short movie reviews. Feel free to tell me how much they suck.

That’s it!

This is Norman the Movie Guy, telling you to save the internet!

P.S. Be sure to visit us at the forums!

God Almighty! We’re back!

The “image-obsessed” Congressman Evan Baxter (Steve Carell) has been asked by God (Morgan Freeman) to build an ark. Now, with the whole world watching, is Evan able to build the ark in time? More importantly, will the film prove to be an almighty 11 on our new rating scale, or is it a devish (non-sexy) 1?

What happens when you have serious upload issues? No episodes, a big thank you to everyone still listening (if anyone is)!

This week’s question is “Should religion be allowed in the movies? Why?” Answer in the forums at moviecriticshow.freeforums.com, call our listener line at 206-203-2067, or email us at moviecriticshow@gmail.com

Due to the fact that my voice isn’t that great, this week’s episode had been delayed until next week.

With that, thanks to an email from a fellow podcaster with some very useful comments, I have decided to scrap the show’s current format and next week will have a different format.

I apologize and thank you to anyone who gave me the chance by listening/downloading the show.

If you want to comment on anything, call our listener line at 206-203-2067 or email us at moviecriticshow@gmail.com

We’re bringing boring back, or are we?

A few weeks back, we reviewed the 1992 version of Wuthering Heights called “Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights”. Now we are taking a look at the 1939 version named “Wuthering Heights”. Is is just as boring as ever, or does it manage to be brilliant. Also, we have a special message about our forums.

Not Rated by MPAA

As again, we apologize for being late. We finally got our uploading issues fixed.

See ya on the flip side,

Norman the Movie Guy

Those matriarch copulating snakes have made it onto that matriarch copulating plane, and Samuel L. Jackson doesn’t like that! Can he save everyone or board, and me from boredom, or will I just dose off like every other in-flight movie?

Rated R for language, a scene of sexuality and drug use, and intense sequences of terror and violence

We would like to apologize for not releasing our episode on Monday. (We had some uploading issues)

Episode Delayed

Hey everyone.

I’m afraid that I have bad news. We are currently haveing problems uploading the latest episode, and because it’s so late in the week that I have decided to release the episode on Friday. I am sorry if this caused any inconvienence (to anyone that’s listening).

Thanks,

Norman the Movie Guy

In 1953, the United States was bombed by the Russians, leading to it’s downfall. The only remaining place that was American is Las Vegas (now called Lost Vegas) which was ruled by the King himself, Elvis. Elvis though, would die 40 years later. This would sent out a call to all rockers out there to come to Vegas to become the new king of Rock n’ Roll. Buddy (Jeffery Falcon), a Buddy Holly look-alike/Samurai is off to become the new king with a orphaned child (Justin McGuire) coming along for the ride. Will Buddy become the new king of Rock n’ Roll?

Rated PG-13 for for martial arts and swordfight violence

I have honestly been thinking long and hard about this, and I have decided to add podsafe music to the show. Why you may ask we are doing this? For two reasons. Getting the music for the show is free and it adds meat to it. As time goes on, we may make a feed with one just containing reviews and one containing this format. This may become permanent, depending on the feedback that I get.

So feel free to voice your opinion!
